Tour Overview:
The Golden Triangle Tour with Udaipur and Jaipur is a superb tour where you get to visit cities of Golden Triangle along with other popular cities in Rajasthan such as Pushkar, Udaipur and Jodhpur. Itinerary of Golden Triangle Tour with Udaipur and Jaipur
Day 1: Delhi sightseeing
The tour representative will come to pick you up from Indira Gandhi International Airport or your chosen spot in the capital. From here you will be taken to your chosen hotel. Once you are through with the check-in process, you will step out for sightseeing.
Visit key tourist spots in the capital such as Jama Masjid, Lal Quila, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, Lodhi Gardens, etc. If time allows you, you must also visit other key tourist places such as India Gate, Parliament House, Raj Ghat, etc. You can also indulge in some shopping at any of the popular shopping places. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi to Agra
In the morning you will leave for Agra in a pre-booked A/C vehicle. Yamuna Expressway has made Delhi Agra journey very convenient. On reaching Agra, check into any good hotel which is located close to Taj Mahal.
Once you are done with it you can leave to see Taj, which is a beautiful white marble monument. It was constructed by Mughal emperor Shahjahan in memory of his dead wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is believed that the emperor got hands of all those who built Taj cut so that the monument could not be replicated.
After Taj viewing, you can proceed to see an amazing red sandstone monument, Agra Fort. This fort provides a view of the entire city. As red sandstone is used to make it, it is also referred to as Red Fort of Agra or Lal Quila.
Later during the day, you can go for a walk in Mehtab Bagh and enjoy the sunset view of Taj. If there is time on hand you must visit the Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah. This monument is called "Baby Taj" and is not like other Mughal tombs which were constructed during this time. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Agra.
Day 3: Agra to Jaipur (240 kms)
In the morning you will head for Jaipur in a pre-booked taxi. It just takes around 4 to 5 hrs to reach Jaipur city. En-route you can take a halt at Fatehpur Sikri. This city was built by Akbar to mark his victory over Gujarat.
The city is totally in ruins now. Once you are in Jaipur check into a good heritage hotel to have a complete feel of Rajputana hospitality. You should City Palace which is an opulent palace turned hotel complex. In one part of the palace, the royal family still stays. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Jaipur.
Day 4: Local Sightseeing in Jaipur
There are several amazing places to see in the Pink City. You can begin your day with a visit to Amer Fort. This fort built by Raja Man Singh is divided into 4 parts i.e. the main entrance gate, Surajpol, then there is Ganesh Gate dedicated to Sila Devi, Hall of the public audience- Diwan- e Aam and Hall of the private audience- Diwan-e-Khas.
The whole of Jaipur can be seen from Amer Fort. After Amer Fort, you can visit Hawa Mahal, also known as 'Palace of winds'. Another key spot to visit is Jantar Mantar. This is a royal observatory flanked by mathematicians and astronomers from across the globe.
Jaipur tour cannot be deemed complete if you do not indulge in shopping. So, go visit some of the popular bazaars in Jaipur such as Bapu Bazaar, Tripolia Bazaar and but local handicrafts, tie and dye fabric, etc.

Day 5: Jaipur to Pushkar (150 Kms)
In the morning post breakfast, you will leave for Pushkar. This is the only place in the whole world where you will find Lord Brahma Temple. The distance between Pushkar and Jaipur is not much and you will be Pushkar within 2 hrs. In Pushkar check into the chosen hotel and then proceed to see Brahma Temple.
There a red spire located right at the entrance of the temple. Other key attractions in Pushkar are Savitri Temple, Rangoli Temple, and Pushkar Lake. Overnight stay is in Pushkar.
Day 6: Pushkar to Jodhpur (186 Kms)
In the morning you will leave for Jodhpur popularly known as Blue city. The journey takes around 4 hrs. On reaching Jodhpur you will check into your preferred hotel. Jodhpur city has several amazing places to see such as Mehran Garh Fort which is a huge historic site, Jaswant Thada- it is a cenotaph built by Sardar Singh of Jodhpur, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Kaylana Lake. Overnight stay is in a hotel Jodhpur.
Day 7: Jodhpur to Udaipur
In the morning you will leave for Udaipur which is regarded as one of the most romantic cities of India. It will take around 5 hours to reach Udaipur. This beautiful city is also known as the City of Lakes. Check into a good hotel and immediately head to see City Palace which is 200-year-old lakeside palace complex which is breathtakingly beautiful.
Day 8: Udaipur sightseeing
Today again you will be leaving for a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Visit Saheliyon ki Bari which is a beautiful garden complex containing fountains. You must take a boat ride in Lake Pichola. Also, visit Jag Mandir which is a luxurious 17th-century palace complex located in the middle of a lake. The entire feel of Udaipur is very nice. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Udaipur.
Day 9: Udaipur to Delhi
In the morning you will leave back for Delhi. The journey is long and you will take approximately 11 hours to reach provided traffic and weather conditions are congenial. On reaching Delhi you will head towards the airport to catch a flight for your onward destination.
